Terms of service

These terms govern the use of Kauri, provided by Karussell Labs OÜ (“Karussell”, “we”) at https://kauri.karusselllabs.com. By creating an organisation you accept these terms and the data processing agreement on behalf of that organisation.

1. The service

Kauri compares what a software project’s repository intends with what its environments run, records requests, changes and transports, and shows gates and release windows. It is advisory: it generates commands and shows them; it does not execute anything against your environments and holds none of your credentials. You remain responsible for every change you make to your systems.

2. Accounts and organisations

You need an email address to sign in. An organisation is created by a person who becomes its owner. Owners manage members, tokens and deletion. You are responsible for the people you add and for the tokens you mint.

3. Private beta

Kauri is in private beta. It is provided as is, may change without notice, and may be unavailable. We may end the beta or an account at any time; you may delete your organisation at any time, which removes all its data immediately.

4. Your data

Content you or your runner put into Kauri belongs to your organisation. We process it only to provide the service, under the data processing agreement. We do not sell it, and no model vendor outside our own infrastructure receives it unless you configure one yourself.

5. Acceptable use

Do not use Kauri to store credentials, to attack systems you do not own, or to upload content you have no right to share. Do not attempt to access other organisations’ data. Report vulnerabilities to contact@karusselllabs.com.

6. Fees

The private beta is free. Paid plans will be announced before they apply, and will never delete data on downgrade.

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Karussell is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and its total liability under these terms is limited to the fees paid in the twelve months before the claim, which during the beta is zero. Nothing limits liability for intent or gross negligence, or for death or personal injury.

8. Law and venue

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Estonia. Disputes are resolved by the courts of Harju County, Tallinn, unless mandatory consumer law provides otherwise. The English text is binding.
